Importance Of Learning Lines

Learning lines is VERY important and the reason why I am writing about this is because in my last lesson write up (link), I wrote that we needed to learn our lines and that Olly was struggling with this especially.
It is very important to learn lines because if one person doesn’t know their lines, it throws everybody off course because cues will be missed or not said and whole performance will lose pace and the storyline will go flat.  This will be confusing for the audience as they wont know whats going on and will not enjoy or more importantly, learn anything from the performance because as a piece of Theatre In Education, it’s main purpose is to educate and it cannot do that if all the lines aren’t learnt.
I hope this highlights the importance of learning lines as much as it should do.
