Feb 15th: Music

On February 15^th, we listened to everybody’s sunrise and lonely man songs.  I chose Tubular Bells for the lonely man and the Rainman Theme for the sunrise.  Fran chose Escala’s version of ‘Children’ for the sunrise.  We discussed why we thought each piece went with the photo.  On some people’s choices, everybody agreed which track went with each photo but on others, there were debates as each of us think about things differently.  Al the ideas were correct, just the way we thought was different.

We were then give a short tune of

and either went on a xylophone, glockenspiel or a keyboard to play it.

There were 2 keyboards on bass, 4 glockenspiels and 3 xylophones.  At first, we all played the same tune together.  Afterwards, the xylophones played the sequence a little differently or at a different pace.  Then, the glockenspiels did something different so only the keyboards played the original version on the bass.
